***Another Bragging Parent Alert***

So William doesn't feel left out.....I was beginning to wonder when this child would ever begin to speak, but in the last week he has started using about 10 words regularly. I think he knew how to say them all along and was just waiting until he had good reason to use them.

Here's his vocabulary:

"Mama"--finally!
"Ball"
"Door"
"Book"
"Drink"
"Bath"
"Down"
"Baby"
"Baba"--his pacifier
"Night-night"

You forgot the all important word, "Snack." Just look at him and you know how important his snacks are to him.

Brag all you want! The students at school know my grandchildren as if they were related to them; that's how often I brag about them.

Just wait until you hear "car keys?"

Oh yeah...I forgot about "Snack". I also failed to mention "Bye-Bye"...so I guess he has 12 words.

I forgot another word I heard William say last weekend. We were playing with the toy telephone and he would put the phone to his ear and say, "Hello."

He may be starting late, but I have a feeling his vocabulary is going to explode and we won't be able to get him to be quite unless he is sleeping. Even then, if he is anything like his daddy, he may talk in his sleep!
